Frank L. Kane, M.D., graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School, Newark, New Jersey, in 1982. He completed his residency in Family Practice in 1985 at Mountainside Hospital, Bloomfield, New Jersey, where he was Chief Resident. Dr. Kane received a Bachelor of Science in 1978 from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. In 1974 he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, Connecticut.

Dr. Kane is Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Academy of Family Practice. He is currently Chairman of the American Board of Family Medicine, overseeing the Board Certification of 70,000 family practice physicians. Dr. Kane is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians where he served on the Committee on Communication, Commission of Finance and Insurance. Dr. Kane is a member of the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians where he served as President in 1993, and is currently Chairman of the Managed Care Committee. He is the former Chairman of the Department of Family Practice at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Denville, New Jersey. Dr. Kane is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and New Jersey Medical School.

Dr. Kane has staff privileges in the Department of Family Practice at Newton Memorial Hospital, 175 High Street, Newton, New Jersey, and Saint Clare’s Hospital, 25 Pocono Road, Denville, New Jersey. He currently provides patient care at our Andover MDVIP, New Jersey, office location.
